Yes ! It was already on "Global" But it seems to work now. What I did is to set the volume that I want in the "Min level" of the pedal in the BYPASS/CONTROLLER ASSIGN tab (for the "Max Level" I always choose +20) and then press the pedal all the way to the max and then back all the way to the min. By doing this the volume level that I set in the "Min level" in the BYPASS/CONTROLLER ASSIGN tab gets copied to the "Level" in the EDIT tab for the output. I do not understand what is going on, but it works. Thanks Line6 community people !!

Then, if you set the volume that you want in the "Max level" of the EXP Pedal 1, does it mean that you need to keep the pedal down all the time (at the max level) ? I tried setting the same volume level both in the EDIT tab for the output and in the "Min level" of the pedal in the BYPASS/CONTROLLER ASSIGN tab and the problem remains: the level is not kept when switching to another preset and then going back.

Updated to iPadOS 14.1 and iPad Air 2 + Sonic Port still working Looks like this has been fixed for good.
-
My humble iPad Air 2 has been updated to iPadOS 14, and my SonicPort (not VX) works just fine. Tested with Audiobus 3, Overloud TH-U, GE Labs (Mooer), AmpliTube, AmpKit, ToneStack Go, Mobile POD, VStomp Amp HD, BIAS Amp 2. All working. For some reason, other Positive Grid applications (BIAS FX, BIAS FX 2, JamUp Pro) are very unstable and crash easily. But I guess that it has nothing to do with Sonic Port, they probably need to be updated. Best

Another non-VX Sonic Port working here ! iPad Air 2, Audiobus 3, Bias FX, Garage Band ...all sound good. I just rediscovered how nice and useful this interface is Thanks all of you in the forum for keeping this alive !

Great news !!!! Finally !! Thanks @Zooforce, @jelly78 and @GTISPINDLE for sharing. Looking forward to the final release of 13.4

Last update from Line 6. Not very different from the December update, I am afraid... We have confirmed that the Apple class compliant driver that Sonic Port / Sonic Port VX relies on for audio can be problematic on iOS 13. We have seen this across multiple iPhones. Our QA department has logged a bug with Apple to resolve this, but being that this is Apple’s driver, we have no control over when this will be fixed. We’ll continue to dialogue with Apple regularly and test iOS 13 beta releases as they become available. We will update this article with any relevant information as it comes. Update 1/20/20: We’ve tested the latest iOS 13.3.1 beta release and the problem with Sonic Port and Sonic Port VX persists. However, Apple has made significant progress to resolve this issue in an upcoming iOS 13 update. Once Apple confirms what update will include the fix, we will post that here. Well....these are the official words from Line6: "Update 12/20/19: We’ve tested the latest iOS 13.3.1 beta release and the problem with Sonic Port and Sonic Port VX persists. However, Apple is making significant progress to resolve this issue in an upcoming iOS 13 update." We've been waiting since August, when the issue appeared !!
-
Yes. No luck so far.
-
My apologies then, I misunderstood the announcement. Hopefully it is fixed in an "upcoming" release.
-
You are very optimistic !! Seriously now, it seems that Line 6 has just abandoned Sonic Port. The last "official" announcement from Line 6 (December 4th) is: "Update 12/4/19: We’ve tested the latest iOS 13.3 beta release and the problem with Sonic Port and Sonic Port VX persists. However, we are making good progress working with Apple to resolve this issue in an upcoming iOS 13 update." But this is not happening....

I just tested and, oh surprise !, it does not work !! Seriously now. The first post in this thread is of August 25th .... almost 3 months !!! Nothing has been done. It's sad, very sad. (EDITED -> I am using "Sonic Port" and iPad Air 2 with the lightning cable. For this model (not VX) there is not USB alternative)
-
iOS 13.2.2 + Sonic Port (standard, not VX) + iPad air 2 still not working at all
-
Extremely disappointing I think I'll get a iRig HD 2 ...and of course forget about my Line 6 HX Stomp Christmas present I understand that Apple might not care about Line 6 losing costumers. But Line 6 (Yamaha) should be more concerned. But I'm probably wrong
-
So, with my non-VX Sonic Port I've been bricked ! Very nice.
-
Thanks ! But then I need a USB cable for the Sonic Port, right ? Mine only came with a lightning cable. What a shame !
-
My fault. The first post in this thread was about Sonic Port VX. I should have been more clear. x.
-
Not the one that I bought, it came with a lighting cable only https://line6.com/sonicport-audio-interface/sonicport/
-
Well, maybe so.... But if Line6 sells a product that is intended to work with iOS but does not work with iOS anymore....why do they keep selling it ? Let' hope for the best and wait for a solution from either company. They have smart people working for them, shouldn't be that difficult ! Just to know.... Is the Sonic Port firmware upgradeable ? I have tried Sonic Port with IOS 13.1.1 on my iPad Air 2 and does not work at all. I have tried Mobile Pod, Bias FX, Garage Band ... .all in and out Audiobus. Nothing works. The interface is not detected On the other hand, with another interface (Focusrite iTrack Dock) all works perfectly Who is to blame ? Xavier
