    I appreciate the help but I already tried that and still nothing.

    HX Edit worked fine until a Windows update. Now I just get a little spinning circle for half a second and the program closes. I tried to uninstall and reinstall and roll back the Windows version but still nothing. The program will not start. Any help would be appreciated.
