What is the best way to connect a Laney Ironheart Studio amp with a Line 6 HX Stomp. I realize I can input the HX Stomp into the effects loop? I would like to use both products with a midi controller that would not only switch presets on HX Stomp, but also be able to channel select and turn reverb and the Pre Boost on the Laney. Is this possible? Thank you for your time.

I realize you can do this with the Helix, but I was wondering if it was possible to run my in ear monitor with a Pod X3 Pro? or any of the other Line 6 multi-effects units?
