  1. Hi all ( bit of a effects noob here ) Was lucky enough to purchase a helix hx a few days back, and after a few days realised that in order to use it to it's full potential I really need to utilize the 4 cable method. Well I have a dedicated effects loop on my Laney ironheart ( 60w head ) which if anybody is familiar allows 3 options, bypass , 0db, -10db ( I've not got a clue what this even means to be honest ) I have the cables set up as all the instructional videos show, however when I power it all up, I have almost zero control over the volume levels of the amp! And it's seriously loud, even with the volume set to zero ( far too loud for home use ) can any of you kind folks show me what I'm doing wrong here? Is there some sort of global setting I need to be changing on the helix to rectify this?
