Has anyone had success getting a good sound from running a fuzz pedal into an amp model? Recently tried it and it sounded pretty awful. Wondering if I've made an amateur error somewhere along the line. Putting the pedal between the guitar and input jack, going in to a clean Fender amp and cab model.
The break up is lumpy. tried turn the sustain, level, guitar up and down, but struggling to replicate a some that sounds similar to going straight in to a tube amp. Fuzz models seem to sound way better than an external pedal, which is a shame as I was hoping to keep my drive pedals and use the Stomp for Delay, Reverb, Modulation and the occasional amp sim.
