Hi all, I just got a Helix, paid by my band...(yes, I seriously don't deserve it!) I have used it for an hour and it is such a sound upgrade from the POD 500x. a) However, I can't find anywhere the software to put in my computer so I can edit and add and all that stuff. b) The person who bought it for me "registered it" and all (and loaded the 2.82 firmware etc)--do I need his account and password to set it up via computer?? Yes, I spent about an hour going all over Line 6, youtube and the net trying to locate the software (POD has the "edit" sofware). Any tips you have would be much appreciated.

Silver, Thanks for your response ("you got the silver" by Keith Richards----is that where you got that :)) I have the POD HD 500x, and the program is "POD HD 500x edit". I use the software quite often and have great sounds, but want to 'order' my pedals. THanks for any help Steve

HI, Can anyone help me to do this --to move the footswitches in "Edit" software-so, that means I keep all the pedals, but assign different foot swtiches to different pedals. Is there an easy way in the "Edit" software. THanks for your help!

Hi, Older guy here, who has bought a used POD 500x. I have watched a lot of videos and read the owner's manual, and don't understand a whole lot, lol. Where is the best place to start. I have watched a lot of vidoe, but I still can't even "save" something to my POD. Thanks for any vids or places to start---for ultra beginners brownsugar
