  5. Hi, I'm very new to Helix, but loving the experience so far ! i'm trying to add a block at the beginning of my signal path for one (or more) of my user saved presets to add a noise gate. however, when i create a new bock and press the joystick to select the effect i do not get any options other than NONE, all other options are greyed out . is this finger trouble on my part ? any help or suggestions greatly appreciated but please go easy ! im in the very early learning stages of both the helix and guitar playing ! Many thanks, Ian

  9. Hi, i have just received my new helix and feeling rather stupid as i can seem to get an output. guitar plugged into the 1/4" input. i have the Helix connected to my mac book pro via USB . i have iloud monitor speakers plugged into the headphone out on my MacBook. i have Amplitube and Garage band on my Mac and have tried setting Helix as the input device in both of these . should this setup work ? and how should i configure the outputs? sorry for these very basic questions but i am at a loss as to what to do next. hope someone can help getting me started . Thanks in anticipation, Ian
