  1. Line 6 spider 5 60watt amp less than 2 years old. Has a glitch whereby it won't power on and after some switching on and off, removing the power cord etc several times, it eventually powers up but won't produce any sound either using the g10 wireless or using a cable directly into the amp. The only way this can be resolved is by performing a factory reset. The issue has happened 6 times in the last 2 months. It's really annoying because I have to keep installing my own presets after each factory reset. I've also noticed that when the loss of sound occurs, when I plug the g10 into the jack to charge, it doesn't appear to be recognised because there's no battery level indicator showing on the display. Anyone else had similar issues? What was the fix? Of course the amp is out of warranty.
  2. Yeah, I had the same issue. The only way I can work out how to do it is.. first save the tone into a folder on PC. From there, go to the 'amp' tones and select the spot where you want to save your tone to. Then select, import, locate the place where you saved the tone to your PC and upload it from there. It's a rather long winded way of doing it but, so far, that's the only way that works.
