Thanks for coming back on this question. You're right. Unscrewing the back plate there is a dip switch for TRS or TR referring to the cable connection to use. I have switch on TRS and using a TRS cable. I'm pretty sure it's not that as the problem seems to be in the HX Stomp unit. It will not recognize the footswitch on the TT-2 and when the cable it inserted into the FS4/FS5 port, the HX presets scroll one after the other.

Hi, I have HX Stomp and have successfully connected the Mission Engineering TT-2 two switch box to add FS4 and FS5. Now, it's not working and may (not sure) be due to updates in the soft or firmware. Asking if anyone is having problems getting the ME box working. I have TRS cable from ME TT2 into the HX. I've confirmed correct global settings but what's weird is that when I insert the TRS cable into the HX the presets start scrolling. No way to stop it either than disconnecting the cable. I tested on another new HX unit a friend had with two different cables. Unfortunately, the same behavior so this seems something more than one bad unit. I've written to ME but no response. Anyone have a similar experience? And if so, any solution? Thanks. John

I'm new to MIDI but have been using it set up between my Novation Impulse 25 keyboard and my DAW Cubase. I use the virtual instruments in Cubase for sounds. I haven't found a way (or is there) to use the KEY presets in my HX Stomp with direct signals from MIDI keyboard to create a sound? I've connected the keyboard by MIDI cables but the keyboard doesn't have 1/4" L/R outputs -- only the MIDI or USB. Any suggestions or am is this a deadend? Thanks very much.
