I have a Kemper Powered Profiler. I can still use it with a powercab, right? I've always had 4x12 cabs, and need to downsize. I'd like to get a powercab rather than just an ext cab to provide versatility in case I want to get a helix or Fractal AX8.

I think I may have found my answer. By creating an Alternate Custom Tuning, I'd go into that mode, then hold down the high E at the 10th fret, play that note, then play all other strings on the 12th fret, then save over one of the pre-existing tunings. That sound like the solution?

Hello all, Just doing my research to make a thorough/informed decision on whether or not to purchase the Shuriken. My original Line 6 "59" would be physically strung in standard EADGBE tuning, and there was a selection on the tuning knob for "drop D" tuning. I don't see this option on the Shuriken...just the Drop C tuning, which i'm assuming is just dropping the physical drop D tuning of the guitar down a step. Is there a way to set up drop D tuning on the variax effect tuning knob, while still keeping the guitar in standard tuning? This would also be for playing Les Paul style hard rock/distortion. Thanks in advance for your replies on this. Steve
