HIYA! sorry it didnt make sense but i finally fixed it and yes i already that threads method and IT WORKED! (kinda) see i was using this USB cable for a long time now and when it kept failing i kinda just threw it against a wall and started shouting profanitys at it. So after i cooled down i went to my neighbor's and asked if he had a printer cable i could borrow and he did so i tried it again and it worked. so long story short test your USB's at least 5 times before updating. (mines in the trash now).

hi im fairly new to the line 6 and already tried troubleshooting this by reading most of the posts but i dont know if this stems from my usb cable or what but heres the rundown on what happened; - tried using hx edit to update everything great suddenly helix floor is stuck on boot failure - then tried the line 6 updater (and heres where the main problem arises) - everytime i try to update (even tried the manual flash file) it keeps saying my firmware update failed but when i press continue i see that my helix is still connected to the computer so i dont know if this is a usb problem or if i bricked my helix but im really scratching my head at what to do here. and as an extra sidenote everytime i turn on the helix right before it goes back to update failed entered update mode text pops up i can see that my helix is booting on 3.5 already. i dont know if this means that it already updated the first part and just waiting for the hx edit part to fully install it buy im really stuck here.
