  1. Right- I think I will give it an approximation by setting up the Ducked Delay on a split path, kill the dry through (100% wet?), and have some modulation effects follow it so that they are only on the repeats. Then the overall mix is set at the split/merge points, and level on the DD.
  2. I have a TC 2290P (pedal) on my board with the Helix Stadium in a stereo loop. The ducked delay in the Helix is very good, but it does not have the options provided by the 2290 rack or pedal. I am thinking that to emulate the 2290, you would have to set up some modulation on split after the Helix ducked delay. Has anyone else done this?
  3. I agree with you that the amp modeling is excellent, second to none actually.
  4. I did submit a feature request via product feedback. I also went ahead and programmed my MC8 Pro for the time being. It has 8 buttons, so I programmed in Stomp A, Stomp B, Combo, Presets, Snapshots, 2 specific presets, and tuner. That is on bank 1 of the MC8, bank 2 could just be 8 specific presets, for example. This has some overlap with FC6 on the Helix Stadium. One thing that is nice with the separate midi switcher is you can stay in Stomp A or Combo mode and switch to specific presets without exiting the mode on the Helix footswitches. One button switching between any modes is very convenient.
  5. How do I go about submitting a feature request?
  6. Right. I think the feature request would broaden out. The ability to have a user-defined layout on a persistent mode would be very useful. I know of at least one competitor that allows this custom footswitch layout capability. I have a Morningstar MC8 that could step into the role, but that would take up valuable space on my board. How does one submit a feature request?
  7. Thanks. I programmed those into the Stomp B footswitches, and it worked only for the Preset that I had opened and then saved with those assignments. When I switch to a different Preset those footswitch assignments do not carry over. I want it to work on every Preset without having to program it into each one. The 2nd issue is this: does the Helix automatically route these midi messages to itself? It was not working until I jumpered a midi cable between the Helix in/out midi ports.
  8. I'd like to assign modes to footswitches, especially in Stomp B. One FS for Preset mode, one for Snapshot mode, etc. Is this possible now? I tried to do it and could not find a way.
