I followed your steps I bought it used from a friend. This is how it’s been since I got it. I’ll do a factory reset again, try a different USB port and then if that doesn’t work try a different computer. Thanks for the help

I got the newest version of updater to download but I still can't update to 3.01 I'm gonna try a different computer.

I've been trying to update my HX Stomp for months but it always freezes when I update to 3.01 I've reset my Stomp and started the updates from 2.80 right up to 2.92 and it always gets stuck on 3.01 I have a 2012 MacBook running Catalina, I have all the newest versions of Line 6 Updater and HX Edit. What am I doing wrong?

I also can not download the newest version of Line 6 Updater. I don't know if that changes anything or not.

The exact same thing happened to me. And it's happening again. It's been updating for hours now and hasn't made progress. HX Edit and Updater were reading it at first but not anymore. I'm thinking about turning everything off and trying again but with a different USB port on my laptop. Any other ideas?
