  1. Hi, I recently purchased a stomp. The first thing I did was choose the most heavily distorted channel preset on the Stomp and one-by-one connect each of my external pedals before and after the stomp to hear the difference. Going through this process each pedal showed a noticeable difference in how it interacted with the Stomp. So, given that, I arranged my pedals to give myself the most control with each one from clean to high gain. I will say that the sounds, although usable, are noticeably diminished even in their best placement. For most of them I can ignore this slight decrease in performance, but for the Flint, it really bothers me. If I put it after the Stomp, it washes everything out and if I put it before, the sound is much more clear, but not nearly as crisp as it is on its own. Right now I am going: Sonic Research Tuner -> Warden (compression) -> Distortion/Overdrive -> Flint -> Stomp -> Synth9 -> Enzo -> Ottobit -> Grand Orbiter -> Avalanche Run -> Ditto Stereo looper -> J48 Radial DI -> Interface
  2. Hi, I am new to this device and have been looking at countless videos and forum posts, but nothing specifically matches my current setup and situation. I know that the HX stomp has a built-in tuner and looper, but I prefer to use my external pedals. That aside, this is my current chain: Guitar > (mono in) sonic research st-300 tuner (mono out)> (mono in) EQD The Warden Compressor (mono out) > (mono in) Mooer Green Mile (mono out) > (mono in) EHX Synth9 (mono out) > (mono in) Meris Ottobit (mono out) > (mono in) Meris Enzo (mono out) > (mono in) EQD Grand Orbiter (mono out) > (mono in) Strymon Flint (stereo out) > (stereo in) EQD The Avalanche (stereo out) > (stereo in) ditto looper (stereo out) > (stereo in) Radial J48 (XLR out) > mixer This is what I want to work with, so please try to help me find a way to integrate the HX stomp into this chain. I was thinking of putting the HX stomp at the end of the chain and running my looper stereo into the instrument input on the HX and then stereo out to the DI box. But what if I wanted to integrate my pedal chain into the effects loop of HX stomp...how would I do that? Where would you put the stomp?
