I use HELIX Native recording with Cubase. The sounds for guitar are almost the same as on the HELIX floor unit, but for Bass, its is a nightmare. A patch sounds good on the floor unit, once loaded into Native is distorted and unusable. I use a Fender Jazz Bass and a Steinberg UR22MKII USB interface into a Mac. I have checked the input gain on the interface, no red lights, so it should be all good, but it isn't.
Has anyone had a similar issue? BTW, as I said, this only happens with the Bass patches (presets or self created). I have to fall back to Cubase Bass Amp Rack (which is not sooo bad).
