Hi all I have acquired the internals from a Variax 300, which I am assured should be in working order. Slight problem in that there is no battery connector (see attached). Can these still be acquired and, if so where do they attach? I'm planning on using the components in an unused Ibanez RG. Grateful for any advice received.

I'm using an EHX Expression pedal.... https://www.ehx.com/products/single-expression-pedal It's plastic but quite sturdy and cheap. IMHO it's a good compromise between the cheapest, flimsy plastic expression pedals and the expensive metal ones. Worked right out of the box with the HX effects too. It has a wah-type sweep rather than a long-travel volume style one, so would suit primary use as a wah.
