Helix lt crashes Studio one artist

I have read where Helix native crashes DAWs but I am only using Helix lt into computer via USB and cannot find any info on how to correct the situation. It crashes Everytime I try to record. I used a boss gt1 as my interface which worked flawlessly, now I can't record with he Helix lt. I've uninstalled and reinstalled still the issue continues. I'm afraid if I buy a new computer the issue will still remain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
