UK based so no fluctuation in power delivery

whenever I plug in and switch on my powercab, the blue light comes on at the back then goes off straight away. It takes around 10 minutes of switching off, leaving a while then trying again before it finally stays on. I would truly appreciate any advice if anyone else has had an issue with this
