  1. Hi - I have had my Spider V 60 MkII for just over a year (it is no longer under warranty) and I now have a problem with the USB B port for PC. I use my PC as source for jam tracks, and also to record into directly from the amp, which has worked perfectly. The plug was always very loose, and after coming back from a jam session, when I inserted the USB B plug, I ended up pushing one of the four pins all the way to the back of the port. I tried reviving it with tweezers, and whilst it cosmetically looks like the pins are back in their original position, I am now unable to make a connection with the PC. I have tried multiple cables just in case. I can only assume there has been some internal damage to the port which is not visible from the outside. The question I have is this - is there any reason why I should not plug my PC into the iPad / iPhone USB A port? The manual says nothing about this. I am reluctant to do this since if that port is powered, I am worried it could damage my PC somehow. Has anyone tried this, and does it work - or is there some voodoo magic that only makes it work with apple devices specifically? If not, I guess I need to send the amp away. Thanks in advance, Stephan.
