Hi all. I received my brand new hx stomp yesterday, and already had some fun playing with it. I decided to update the software, as it is currently version 2.65.
For reference, windows 10 detects the device, and installs the driver. However, no matter what I do, the updates are not working.
When attempting to use Hx edit, it simply does not detect the device at all, and states the connection is interrupted. When attempting to use L6 updater, which detects the device, it hangs at the installing screen then moves to a "firmware update failed" screen, which states " an error occured, please try again, reboot the device. This doesn't work.
I tried downloading the flash memory and installing offline, same thing occured.
I also used the forced update boot mode, which was detected by L6 updater as version 2.79.4a, however the same problem occured at the install screen.
Can anyone provide advice, or am I missing something? I would simply like to get my stomp updated.
