  1. I think this is the forum where I go to find help? I searched for the issue, found nothing and want to know if it standard behaviour or an anomaly. It is not yet a suggestion, albeit I have now reported it as a potential bug.
  2. That is what i ended up doing. Issuing a random preset, using s delay and then going back to the original preset. Without the delay the command is lost. Just not expected behaviour
  3. When using a MIDI controller to send out a PC message to the HX Stomp it all works fine EXCEPT that if a Preset is already selected, the MIDI command does not appear to reload the Preset. I would prefer this, as it would reset the blocks to the original Preset settings. I am having to select a random Preset and go back to the one I want to acheive this.

    MIDI Clock

Just learning. About to change to a different MIDI controller with a few more buttons and will probably set that to control master Tap Tempo and send out clock. My current smaller controller has no screen and the Tap is a couple of clicks away so wondered whether you could set it via either switch. Think everyone has pointed out that is not a great idea. Just learning.

    MIDI Clock

is there a way to turn it back via MIDI if needed, or effectively is it one or the other as part of a global setup?

    MIDI Clock

I have a JetPedal MCX MIDI controller which I have setup to send MIDI Clock Tap message. If I select the HX Stomp global setting "Rx MIDI Clock" and turn it to Auto or MIDI, the whole things works. I was using the Tap Tempo CC message but with the MCX it seems to have a limit as to how fast the taps can be. No such problems with the MIDI Clock Tap message. Note that the blinking LED on the Tap button on the HX Stomop turns blue, as in the manual. However, If I try to tap in a new tempo on the HX Stomp it no longer takes any notice. You have to turn the global setting off to revert to thr Red blinking LED and the ability to locally enter the Tap Tempo. I would have thought with Auto set it should be able to take external or internal MIDI Clock commands? Philip
  9. In the end I did a backup, restored factory defaults and full restore and haven't had it since.
  10. yes that work aroubd does work, but looks like there is a bug still
  11. I did manage to save a new amop/cab as a Favorite and that I could add, so not much consistency as to when it occurs . . . ... and agree that out of memory if you have a full chain is understandable, as the first thing in a path it looks more like a bug of some sort Philip
  12. Before I start, I have 3.0.1 installed and latest HX Edit as well so all is working fine with all the new updates. I can also save both User Defaults and Favorites. If I select a new empty preset I can add Favorites except when it comes to an amp/cab combo. So if I have a US Princess and its cab I can add it fine from the amp/cab list to the empty preset. It duly picks up the user defaults. However it shows out of dsp if I try to add it from the Favorites list. Same settings, same amp/cab, no other effects to take away DSP . . . Philip
