I have purchased a second hand Pod HD500X. I have installed the latest firmware and reset the presets to default. I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers and software.
So far I have tested many of the presets and they seem to be OK. The switches seem to work ok to turn on effects or changes presets. I have not tried the looper functionality yet.
I decided to try to see how the Wah pedal worked. I found a standard preset with Wah and Volume pedals setup. 1A Son of Plexi. The Expression pedal can switch between the Volume function and the Wah function, but the function of the pedal to alter the volume or create a wah-wah effect does not seem to work. I have also tried following a youtube tutorial to set up the pedal. All looked correct and again the pedal switch works to turn it on and off, but there is otherwise no noticeable variation to the effect when I depress or lift the pedal.
Is the pedal broken? Is there anyway to be test it?
