I may not 100% sure what I did. I may have had other effects on in Reaper but I now have the Stomp working as an interface as well as through my Scarlett 2i2 with Reaper. Thanks for your assistance.

I am trying to record a guitar track using the HX Stomp as a user interface into a PC using Reaper. When I arm the track I get a lot of feedback and the effect results in a very high frequency. I do not have any issues using the Stomp with any of the presents into my monitors. I have a feeling the signal going into the DAW needs to be lowered. I also tried running the Stomp in my Scarlett 2i2 but the same thing happens. How do I correct this? I checked the global setting but I do not see where I can lower the signal strength.
