    Thanks psarkissian. Just looked. Sadly little else by way of pcbs etc. Seems if they go, (and it is 17 yrs old) there's nothing to be done.

    Which Warmoth neck did you get? The vintage, vintage-modern or the modern? 

    How much are you asking for it, and what country are you in?

    Why sell it, after all that work?

      Its a Vortex conversion tiltback neck custom made for Variax 500s neck pocket. Mahogany with Ebony fretboard, Gibson scale.

    I'm talking to an owner of a 2003 variax 500, but before deciding to buy it, I wanted to find out if internal electronic spare parts are still available. I'm in the UK I'd be grateful for any advice anyone can give me.
