Just bumping this thread as I have the same problem. Trying to run 2 amps in the 7 cable method. I guess its a routing error by me but I cannot figure out what I´m doing wrong. I cannot get signal from send 2 of the HX to the input on amp 2. Amp 2 ends up being slaved via output 2 on the HX to the fx return on amp 2. In other words, the preamp on amp 2 to ends up not being used... Thx Vidar

Hello all! New HX/FX user here! I´m trying to set up my HX/FX with the 7 cable method. The 4 cable method works fine but I want to hook up a second Amp and run stereo. Both Amps have FX-loops. Before I move on, I want to get sure that the manual page 9 is correct. The schematic say I shall plug FX send on Amp 2 to output 2 on the Helix!!! Common sense tells me the manual has mixed up send and return on Amp 2 but I'm not certain due to all the routing possibilities on the HX/FX... Thx for any help! Vidar
