I guess this thread must be obsolete. I was having the same problem as many mentioned above and today just because, I decided to power on my helix. I got the USB confirmation sound that it saw it, so I opened up HX edit and it sees my Helix. I quickly updated HX Edit and the Helix Firmware and I am golden on Win 11 without doing anything. So at least I'm good now.
