  1. Thanks everyone! Yes at the end of doing the system update they encourage doing the power up reset that you mentioned and I did this. That's when the factory presets appeared. I hoped that there was a way to store the ones I liked but didn't know the export method and am unclear on where that would export to. Seemed like a Catch 22, if I'm looking at the factory presets when I hit export, I can't see my own preset list to export to. Does it export to a storage area until the user reloads their own preset list or is there another alternative? Sorry for my ignorance in this area. For the record, I'm a huge fan of the Helix Stomp. I play a cigar box guitar through it and the infinite number of tones helps me get the CBG to sound close to a regular guitar.
  2. I backed up my Helix Stomp before updating. Part of he update process leaves you with the default settings so I went through those and found some things I liked. I wrote down the patches and all the parameter settings of the ones I liked to try later, then reloaded my backed up sounds. That all went smoothly. But when I added the new amp patch with effects and entered their parameters into an unused patch on my Helix it sounded different than what I had heard when it was downloaded with the default sounds. I can't figure out why. I kept the amp/effects sequence and settings the same. It's not just a volume change - the new sounds are duller as if the eq was different. But I was careful to copy all settings within each effect. Any thoughts and why things have changed?
  3. Twice now the reverb has increased dramatically on every snapshot in the middle of a gig. The amount of reverb (mix levels) haven't changed but they all sound like they are on or near 100%. This is true on all the different types of reverb that I use on the Stomp. So it's not just Spring, it also happens on Hall and all others. The first time it happened the problem just went away. This second time it has remained. I can turn down the reverb mix and it responds and I can turn off reverb altogether and it responds. But it's clearly not the amount of reverb I had assigned to it previously since I've been using the unit for a year or two and I'm familiar with how the settings should sound like. And of course, every snapshot has a different amount so resetting all of them would be a nightmare. My setup is very simple: guitar into Helix Stomp v.3.62 and that goes directly into a Fender amp. The problem is not the amp. I can plug into it directly without using the Stomp and it's bone dry as it should be. Is there a master effect setting somewhere that I can adjust that would affect all snapshots? I'm desperately looking for a solution. thanks, Rob Stapleton P.S. I absolutely love this unit! It has improved my tone beyond description.
