Hoping I can get some help. I've had a Relay G50 wireless for a year+ - Never had an issue with drop outs.
Recently, I switched to a PRS Piezo guitar, which has two inputs - One for isolated piezo, the other for isolated electric guitar pu's. I purchased a second [used] Relay G50 (full thing - Receiver and transmitter). So, I wear 2 transmitters - 1 Transmitter on each guitar input - and have both Receivers going - each Receiver going into a separate input on my Quad Cortex. Scenes within the QC turn inputs on/off, so I can loop 'acoustic/piezo' and solo via the humbuckers. I use my existing G50 on the piezo side, and the new (used) G50 on the electric side. **Each system is set to their own unique Channel.**
Problem - when soloing (walking around) I get drop out after about 25'. So, I switch everything, and put the (used) system on the piezo side and my old system on the electric side - I can wander where ever I want without drop out. That said, when using the used system as my main / acoustic wireless, I WAS hearing little flutters / volume drops periodically - They were minor and only lasted a moment here and there. So, the used system is bad, right?
Yesterday I tested each system - Independently - Only one receiver/transmitter powered on at one time - And the range was basically identical before drop outs. Put them on together, and the used system always drops well before my existing system.
Can I not have two body packs that close?
Do I need to put distance between receivers?
