  1. Hi all, Apologies for a lengthy post, and potentially stupid questions. Been googling for days, and trying to find and answer to this. (New to modeling and not the most tech savvy individual either) Most threads are aimed at many other set ups, and obviously serious gigging musicians and home recordings. I am a bedroom player only, the set up is pretty permanent, i do not gig, and for now it will never be used for this, its my ultimate practice set up, and with backing tracks. My wife often records vocals and keyboard, but not daily, maybe once every week or two. My goal is to have everything wired, and the flexibility to decide whether today Tube amp, tomorrow 4CM into Orange or simply bash through my monitors and or headphones. I am still reading the manuals, and trying to work out workflows, and and and. I am ok with setting up global settings and know my in and outs (balanced TRS, XLR , line, instrument etc.) Idea if possible : 1/4 inch left and right out line level > Presonus HP4 for headphones and monitors, it simply gives me the ability to keep helix on full and adjust monitors with out going to back of the monitors, the helix drives my headphones just fine on its own. I can get XLR TO TRS cables made to free up the 1/4 outs if need be. 4CM to my orange amp Guitar in to VOX AC15HW direct via send/return set to instrument. I do not have the ability to do 4CM on the vox. Mic hooked to Mic XLR phantom power on (Condenser mic) This will all stay rigged and ready to go (if possible) I will simply leave everything off till i need that item, and switch off monitors. Not sure if advisable to keep mic on all the time ? Once i wrap my head around how to set it up in the helix itself, i am hoping to have various saved presets for each device i can easily switch across too. The gear i own and can play around with : Line 6 helix floor Presonus HP4 Headphone amp JBL L305s Orange crush RT35 Vox AC15HW Røde Condenser mic Yamaha HT8 Headphones 32 ohm Audio Technica ATH-R70x Headphones 470 ohm In my cupboard behind me there is also : Focusrite 2i2 gen 3 Boss Me-80 A lot of various TS/TRS/XLR cables If those are of any use. Once this has been cleared up, i can move onto final placement and some acoustic treatment. Thank you for your time, much appreciated
