Thank you both for your help. I ended up just putting the synth and guitar into one big linear chain and then assigning all of the guitar effects to a bypass switch. This way I could turn the synth on, with a different switch, and not have it run through the guitar effects.

I have two separate paths and want to connect them to a third path running a loop pedal. path 1 (Synth): variax -> effects -> out path 2 (guitar): guitar -> effects -> out I would like to put a looper that takes the signal from both and puts out the final product. Could somebody please tell me how to make the out from two paths one that connects to a third path? I’ve only had a helix about a week and I feel like there is a simple solution for this. Thank you anyone who answers
