Anyone else having compatibility issues with Windows and the Spider remote app? I cannot connect the device at all. Its clearly connected for sound as my laptop plays sound through it just fine, and the settings on the amp itself work fine but I cannot get the two to talk to each other. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, done all the usual stuff. It was working fine a couple of weeks ago but now wont connect at all. I did note that when I re downloaded the app, Windows had flagged the download as being unsafe (or words to that effect) so dont know if that has anything to do with it?

Despite reboots, uninstalling and reinstalling I cannot access the cloud for tones. I just get a message saying no internet access detected. Seems to have happened after my laptop did an update. Any suggestions? Honestly giving up on this amp and software.

Is it possible to use a looper pedal with this amp? I know some of the larger amps include a looper but I really dont need anything bigger than the 20w but want to start using a looper. Any advice appreciated.

Is it just me. I frequently encounter a problem (on a laptop) where the spider software has logged me out so I cant access the tone library, however it wont let me log back in until I have closed the software, visited the Line 6 website and logged into my account on there (which frequently takes 1 or 2 attempts) then launch the programme again to log into the spider tones website. Its a hassle I can do without when I only have limited time. Any solutions please?

No not really if I hadn't asked I'd still be trying to work it out. I was asking a question about software and hadn't made the link between using the effects buttons on the amp and those in the software - I just hadn't sussed it. Your post helped. Its great to be able to ask questions of more experienced users.

Ahh!!! Thankyou - I was thinking I could just use the software, but I need to use the buttons on the amp itself too!!!!! To be fair, I wouldn't say this is exactly clear from the manual. Cheers for that!!

its a spider v20. some tones from the cloud have two delay settings so I assumed I'd be able to do it too. The manual is no help really.

I'd like to add more than one delay to my settings - I have seen some tones in the cloud have two delays which is what I'm after, but I cant for the life of me work out how to get two in my set up. Any suggestions please.

I have only recently started to use the Spider software on a Windows 10 laptop connected to my amp. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong! I cant even seem to get the basics to work - i.e. the software opens in a window that is 3/4 of my screen but I cant move it, maximise it or minimise it. I cant see any options for settings or help etc. When I'm using it, the "My Tones" tab contains all the same tones as the amp tab, and I can only save into the amp tab!! Cant find any 'how to' guides anywhere!! The variety of amps and effects is great but trying to use the software is horrendous - any suggestions!! Ta
