Yep. Instrument out level. Keep your level down to avoid clipping. I prefer the low input, more headroom. If you do use the amp/cab then turn off the cab. I use it like that with various amps, tube/SS/hybrid. I use the amp (without cab) as an additional dirt/eq block to "flavor" the preset. Been gigging it a lot, works great. Good luck & have fun!!
