Interested in other users' experience here.
I have the following three options from the L/mono output of my HX Stomp into my Focusrite Clarett 2pre:
1. TS to TS guitar cable [in theory I could insert a DI box here, but see 2 and 3 below...]
2. TRS to male XLR cable
3. TRS to TRS cable
I'll be trying these over the next couple of weeks. (I don't expect to hear a difference between 2 and 3 but you never know!)
Has anyone compared the sound quality of the signal by these three methods? What difference(s) would you expect to hear? What did you in fact hear?
