Hi,
Thanks everyone for the answers.
After long A/B tests , I sticked with Fender FR12, I had both powercab 112+ and the FR12 for more than a week.
Here is why (in my humble/casual player opinion) :
* FR12 = It's a-just-work piece type of gear.
* Powercab = a very complicated need to be an excellent sound engineer thing to make it work.
I really tried all the possible combinations (including cab emulation) with the 112+, it just doesn't work like I want, too dark and boxy, or just an okay sound with FRFR mode.
With cab emulation, it's even worse, it's like the cab was hidden by a carpet.
In other hands, with the Fender FR12, you just need to plug the jack in, everything at noon, and it sound better, without any tweaks.
I am a bit confused when I see posts of people that are enjoying powercabs, maybe I'm just stupid that I coudn't make it right with the PC 112+ or I have a very treble/presence sensitive ear.
In all the cases I found my last piece of the puzzle ;)
