Having the error message as outlined by pkordel. Switched the HX Stomp off and did a factory reset by holding down switches 2 and 3 while powering up the unit. The reset was successful, and shows v3.70. HX Edit shows "No updates available". Therefore I have no way of knowing whether the firmware has been updated. Is there a way to force the firmware update? How can I determine whether the firmware has already been updated?
