Is there a longer answer? Do you know if this would be viable with the 2nd gen of Variaxes with actual magnetic pickups?

Good morning! I'm new to the Variax world, just bought a used 600 from my local guitar shop, picked up all of the various bits and pieces on line, have managed to connect to the guitar with the original Work Bench software, and have begun noodling with modeling. My question is this: is there a way to blend acoustic tones with electric (magnetic) tones in the first gen Variaxes? The 'acoustic' bodies won't allow me to add pickups, and the 'electric' bodies don't have an acoustic option...any thoughts? Thanks!
