So when the HD500X is connected to the PC via USB, the in/out hardware midi ports on the HD500X will not function as Windows midi ports? They simply work as hardware midi ports for the 500X itself - correct? TIA

Not an electronics guy here: Is the power requirement different from that of POE (Power Over Ethernet)? It occurred to me that a POE injector with ethernet cable might work purely from a 'power' point of view(?)
