Rexxdaddy

Recently purchased Helix. My guitar input seems to be gated even though i have the input gate turned off. signal is barely audible until guitar volume knob is about 2/3 up then suddenly loud as though a gate opened. It only happens using speaker or stage monitor. headphones are fine. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks
