  1. I have the HX ONE for 2 weeks now. First, The sounds are great and there are many options to shape and change them to your liking. Second, I want to use this pedal live because I want to keep my pedal board small and I use some sounds just for 1 or 2 songs, so the HX ONE seems to be a good choice. However, I found it quite a challenge to make it work for a live situation without bending down and use my hands to change to another sound or pre-set. Presets are saved under a different name than the original name of the effect. You can change the name of the pre-set, but I had problems to find them back because of the different name. I name them now to the name of the song, so I can't go wrong. There are different ways to get access to an effect. First, I have to say that there is an option to overwrite the original setting of the effect by your own settings and get it saved as the default setting. When you want a certain effect, you have to turn the effect knob to get the effect you want. This can be time-consuming, and it did not work for me in a live situation. It just took me too much time. The other way is to store the effects you need during the show in the pre-sets. When you push down, both the foot switches at the same time you enter the list of presets. With the left and right foot switch, you can go up and down this list. Problem, the effect is on as you choose it. So if you want this effect only in a part of the song, you have to push the effect button with your hand to be able to switch it off. Then you left the pre-set list, and you have to get back to the pre-set list after the song is ended. I don't find this very user-friendly. There might be another way that I did not find yet. There might be options with a midi pedal, but I like to keep my board small, and I don't think it's a good thing that you need a second pedal for basic use of a pedal. I did a lot of reading (manual) and watched a bunch of video's on YouTube about the HX ONE, but none of them got into how to use it in live situations. But the sounds / effects are great.
