Just like in the the title. I have 2 USB 3 ports in front of the PC, some USBs 2 in the back and 4 hubs of USB... well theoretically 3.2 in the monitor. I wrote theoretically because when I plugged the web camera there was still the warning from the camera that for better performance I should connect it to USB 3. So not sure now why, but anyway I always connect Catalyst to one of the hubs on my monitor, because PC is too far from amp. But now I wonder what is best for Cat. Should i plug it directly to the PC(not monitor) and what type of USB should I choose for recording?
Most of the time I plug Cat to my closest USB hub on monitor(next to Bluetooth USB transmitter which is probably bad because I just found this statement in the monitor's manual:
So If I understand this correctly I should connect Cat to different port not that one that is adjacent to BT transmitter .
Also when I asked Google what generation of USB is best for recording Catalyst here is the answer AI gave me:
Is that true? I know that sometimes AI is lying. Should I use USB 2.0? If that is true I will have to rearrange my room because all of my USB 2 ports are in the back of my PC
