Hi,
First of all, congratulations on Helix Stadium. It's changing the way I play.
I'd like to suggest a few improvements to Showcase, which was one of the main reasons I bought the unit. I don't use it to play back the stems of a full song: I use it to trigger and control loops, backing tracks and ambient beds between songs during a live set.
Until now I did this with a DigiTech JamMan kept separate from my guitar signal: it sent loops from its internal memories straight to the mixer, and I controlled it with its own footswitches. I could start a loop, stop it, step to the previous or next one, play it once, and ride its level with a volume pedal.
Here's what would let me replace it with Showcase:
Navigating between songs while staying inside a preset. (Already possible by assigning the function to a stomp in Command Center — thank you for that.)
Starting a song on top of another song that's already playing.
Controlling a song's level with an expression or volume pedal.
Recalling a song when I change preset. At the moment only the opposite works, with the preset following the song.
Stopping a song with a fade-out even while it's cycling. Right now the fade-out stop command acts on the audio track itself and can't be combined with Cycle.
With those five things I could drop the JamMan entirely and fold my loops and beds into my setlists and presets.
Thanks for the great work.
