  1. Yes, nothing was changed, it was a complete copy all, paste all. yet there would end up being a volume dip or tone loss between banks, even before any edit was made to the new copy.
  2. since my last post, I have no update. I just kind of matched everything by switching volumes on presets, even though the settings have always been the same via copy and paste. One thing I am curious on, is when you drop a new signal path in, you know when you pull a block down and it makes a whole new "signal line" that eventually meets up with your original signal path, but you can move the starting and end points. Forgive the stupid question's, but I wonder if making an additional signal path adds or takes away some volume? what is everyone's thought on this?
  3. I agree, this happens to me more than it should. I'll cop a preset, paste it in a new bank, and there is a significant volume difference. then I have to jack up the channel volume on the amps up or down, to match. this 100% should NOT be a thing.
  4. I have to agree, All cabs, all amps, all effects are the same, go to another preset, use the EXACT SAME SETTING (or sometimes straight up copy/pasting) and there is a significant volume drop or tone difference. then on the preset that is "lower volume" i have to jack up the amp channel volume to say "9" when the same amp on the louder channel is at "6.5" just to match. its straight ridiculous.
  5. Thanks for taking the time to answer my friends. I really appreciate it. I did notice the preset I had with the volume drop was the preset I had a volume pedal on. I removed the volume block, and the preset was still super low, even though all settings were the same as other presets. I ended up just deleting it, and started over from my template. everything is fine now. But I have noticed when using the editor on the computer, that clicking between presets when your selecting on the computer, sometimes there are strange volume and tone changes, but then clicking on another, and going back, the issue isn't there. I've noticed a couple very strange things like that using the helix.
  6. My issue here, isn't the amps being different volumes, or effects, or even cabs. I definitely understand this, as in the "real world" all amps and such are different like mentioned before in previous posts. My issue is that I will copy a preset, and paste it as a template in a new preset, with the same settings, literally nothing changes, then the new preset has a severe Volume drop. key words here, I change absolutely nothing no amps, levels, cabs or anything changes, but the volume has dropped. even before I mess with anything, because as I said i copied and paste to use as a preset. I would save the new template, switch to another preset, go back and the volume is dropped. what's even more annoying, is it is completely random. I'll copy the same original template, and paste it in a new slot, and that volume will be fine. I use the same heavy/Drive amps, and the same clean amps. swathing NO settings on the amps. It makes absolute no sense to me. No settings are changed. anyone else have this issue? Am I missing something? Theoretically, copying a preset and pasting it elsewhere, should copy everything and have no volume drops.
