Hello, I recently bought a second hand HX Effects and the seller mentioned he doesn't think the USB port works. I'd love to try and figure this out so I can update my unit.
I'm running Mac OS Sonoma 14.7.4 and have installed Line 6 Central, HX Edit and Line 6 updater.
I've tried connecting with the usb cable that came in the box and also this cable I got off amazon:

No luck with any of the Line 6 softwares seeing the device with either cable.
So my questions are:
1. Is there anything I'm doing wrong / anything different I should try?
2. Can I run an update via the midi port like back on the M9/M13?
3. If nothing else, how can I get a usb repair and what is the likely cost?
