  1. My workaround for custom effects settings is to use the banks to store a preset including the effects settings I want. I use a Pirate MIDI Bridge4 to load that preset and then change all the other settings (amp, boost, gain, eq) via a stack of cc messages. The Bridge4 can send 16 cc messages per switch. I would like to know if we can change defaults though, it would make things simpler.
  2. Sadly my only solution was to return my 60 for the 100 which is a shame because the 60 was perfect for me in every way apart from the lack of midi.
  3. For future users having a similar problem. I gave up and returned the 60 for the 100 with the built in midi port. Luckily my local store was really good about it.
  4. I ended up going with the Disaster Area micro.ghost https://www.disasterareadesigns.com/shop/p/micro-ghost Sadly it's not working because I don't think it supports the Catalyst's multifunctional USB port. "Plug your USB MIDI device into the USB HOST port, apply standard pedalboard 9V power, and wait for the light to turn green." It never goes green, stays an angry red. I'm going to try the Kenton next: https://kentonuk.com/product/midi-usb-host-mk3/
  5. Thank you, that is invaluable information. I will check out usb midi hosts, the one you linked looks good but delivery time is bit long.
  6. I really like some of the amps in my Catalyst 60 and want to use my HX Stomp to change the amps parameters during songs. On paper I can use the HX command centre for this but my problem is what cable will work. Midi din to usb-b doesn't seem to exist. I can set the HX Stomp to send via USB but USB-b to USB-b cables also don't appear to exist. Can I use 2 usb-b to usb-a cables joined with a usb-a coupler? TIA
