we just switched from a Avid Eleven Rack to a Helix (Rack Version) for our live performances (controller via midi through a USB interface with Reaper).
With the Eleven Rack, we had midi cc 69 and value 0-63 deactivated the tuner, while value 64-127 activated it. We tried the same on the helix and in theory it could have worked in the past. For Version 1.X of the firmware the tuner worked exactly like that (see attached screenshot from the manual) but with the newer versions (2.x and upwards) as long as ANY value is sent on midi cc 68 the tuner switches on or off.
This is a problem because whenever you manually activate or deactivate the tuner during performances, for the rest of the performance, the midi commands will be wrong since there is no dedicated "tuner activate" or "tuner deactivate".
Is it possible to change this or switch to the older firmware again? Or can anyone maybe help us out with a workaround or something like that?
