I'm going to use it in power amp in mode to start (with the UA Lion). Is the Master Volume the only control that is operational? There's no reference in the manual to this. Nick

I was wondering if anyone has tried using an external preamp pedal like the UA Lion, etc: The output of the Lion into the Effects Return of the Catalyst 60 to feed the Catalyst Power amp.

I'm about to purchase the Helix Rack. My only concern is that I don't want to have to "deep dive" as I'm not into that. A question for experienced users: Is it feasible to use the Rack version's controls as you would a normal amp? Meaning, just pull up a preset, tweak as needed (like you would on a Twin Reverb let's say) and go. Thanks, Nick
