  1. Thanks Stefan for taking the time to put this help together I will have a read through what you've suggested. Thanks
  2. Hi I presently. Output my LT to lineouts to studio monitors I use Ableton on my pc connected to LT using USB interface cable, not sure if having backing track AND guitar out of same studio monitors is a good or bad thing. Ableton is used to run backing tracks which output from the same studio monitors as my guitar simultaneously Ableton also runs midi clips which change my snapshots automatically synced to my backing track. Would I be able to add another speaker or set of monitors to my LT, just for backing tracks, whilst having my existing studio monitors just for my guitar. I guess I could easily route these in Ableton but could LT support 2 sets of monitors? 1) Such as Ableton PC connected to Helix LT using the USB interface cable 2) Helix LT connected to Studio Monitors just for my guitar output from helix patches using left and right line outs. 3) Helix connected to another pair of Monitors just for backing track using XLR outs. 4) then a way Ableton could send backing track to the XLR out monitors And helix playing my guitar sound out of lineouts as usual Thanks
  3. Thanks again Silverhead, that makes perfect sense, having never used a separate mixer before, I was a little unsure, but I will go over my settings again, thanks I appreciate both your time and Dunedindragons
  4. Thanks for that great reply, that certainly looks like a clever setup, but as you suggest. Maybe a bit much for my needs, being a bedroom player. The mixer idea sounds feasible for me, would a hardware behringer type mixer have the edge over the Ableton software mixer? Do you have any quick pointers for how I would add the mixer to my Helix LT and studio monitors please? Cheers
  5. Hi Folks, I've been trying hard to get my Helix LT to play backing tracks, in the best way I know, which I've learnt purely by trying to figure it out from Google etc.. I'm a home user. My Setup is as follows, Helix LT connected to Windows 11 Helix LT is output to Rokit 7 Studio Monitors via line outs Desktop PC via USB to LT Daw Ableton 12 running on PC I have created a liveset in Ableton with 4 Stem tracks in DAW, Vocals. Bass, Drums, Guitar. I load a separated WAV file into the 4 tracks, which I play along to. I have a midi channel in the DAW which has midi clips so as to change the Helix snapshots at the correct time, whilst I play along to the track. So all good so far, however, my problem is I just can't for any amount of trying get my setup to give me a satisfactory output of my playing and backing track, either the backing is too quiet or my playing is, not able to get a decent fusion of both inputs I'm aware there is a usb trim in global settings on LT which I've played with but still not great. Am I doing things right here in order to play along to backing tracks or is there a much better way, which might give me a better mix on the backing track/ guitar input? Thanks
  6. Thanks @silverhead, yes all those done thanks, and thanks for confirming Podgo is capable for what I need to do here.
  7. Thanks very much for the reply and advice.
  8. Hi I have Podgo wireless, which I have connected to my windows 11 desktop PC via the usb cable. My pod go is output to studio Monitors and I have created a preset with no blocks. I use reaper and Amp Sims I now wish to experiment playing along to wav files in Reaper. I play live and have high powered i7 PC so no latency. I have created 4 tracks of the wav file I want to play along to, track 1 vocals, track 2 guitar. Track 3 drums. Track 4 bass I can then choose to play along live to whatever tracks I wish. Usually Vocals. Bass and drums. My question is. Is the Podgo up to this amount of signal traveling down a usb cable to my Podgo Me playing plus backing output all going down a usb cable to my Podgo. Reason I ask, is quality of sound not great but not bad, and regardless of how I set the sliders for mixing in Reaper either the backing drowns my playing or my playing drowns backing. I am aware of the Podgo global settings which allows me to adjust the input volume for usb input. Which I have on max. Or would a Focusrite scarlet be a better choice for what I want to do here? I realise you guys have lots more experience in the above and would value any of your help please.
  9. Apologies I meant the Podgo Asio driver inside amplitude settings Thanks @silverhead for all your help, much appreciated, all working now
  10. Sorry, just one more question if I may please. So I have a connection between Podgo and Amplitude, have chosen inputs and outputs 3 &4 in the Amplitude Asio Podgo driver. Now I'm not sure what I need to do at the Podgo end, I note I am still hearing the effects of whichever preset is chosen on my Podgo Question is, I guess their must be a way of getting Podgo to play effects on Amplitude, whilst ignoring what's on Podgo It must be something simple (Me) that's wrong here. Any ideas gratefully received Thanks again
  11. Thankyou very much kind sir
  12. Hi, I have little knowledge of using guitar computer interfaces, but I wish to experiment.l, so please forgive what some of you more experienced guys might consider a dumb question. My question is, Can I use pod go wireless as an interface to my PC running windows 11? And then use an app such as Amplitube to output to my guitar via Podgo I use studio monitors on my Podgo. If possible, does Podgo attach to pc with usb. Or do I need a good sound card. Not interested in recording, just using something like Amplitube, for my effects/ amp etc.. I thought of doing this purely for more flexibility Thanks
