Bass POD XT Live connectivity and software

I'm having the same problem. My PC is recognising the Bass PODxt Live as a Digital Audio Interface, but Gearbox isn't seeing it. I've downloaded Line 6 Edit as well, but that's not working (some kind of Java 64 bit/32 bit clash). Any advice?
