I just purchased a Helix LT from a friend. Got it home, running on a brand new MacBook Pro, downloaded the most up-to-date HX Edit, connected the Helix LT, and it worked...for a few seconds. I then got what I have come to find out is the dreaded "Boot Failure. Entered Update Mode!" display. So I then searched these forums and downloaded the most up-to-date firmware and drivers, and still have the same message. HX Edit was not running in the background during these downloads.
I have downloaded the Line 6 Updater, and the Helix LT is recognized there. But when I open HX Edit, it shows "Helix LT" at the top, but at the bottom, it says "No Device Detected".
I have removed and redownloaded HX Edit. I have done the factory reset. I have put it in Update Mode.
I just need help getting this thing working as I'm feeling incredibly defeated.
