  1. Oh that never even occurred to me as an option since Catalyst Edit is available for iOS. That's nuts. What are they doing? I'll have to return the HX Effects and get a BOSS unit since I know they have Tone Studio on iOS from my Katana bass amp. I just don't know if that'll be able to control the Catalyst in the same way. The only non-iPad I have is my work Macbook Pro and I can't install anything on that. You'd think Line 6, of all companies, would be able to handle software in a modern way. Thank you for the reply.
  2. So I just got a new HX Effects unit to pair with my Catalyst 100 amp. But now I'm absolutely stymied as I cannot locate the HX Edit app. Catalyst edit showed up immediately in the app store and was a breeze to connect and use, but my iPad Pro will not see the HX Edit app in the app store. Am I missing something?
  3. PA mains plugged into a bass amp will not sound nearly as good as with a subwoofer. Both the mains and the bass amp are going to be reproducing all of the frequencies and it'll be muddy. Replace the sub or get a 15" combo. I play through a PA with 2 QSC K8 mains and a KSub 212 and it easily handles a low B. Depending on what your mains are, I'd probably just replace or fix the sub.
  4. When is an iPad version of Line 6 Central coming out? My studio is based around an iPad Pro M2 and the Line 6 Central software is one of the few things I need to lug out a Macbook for. Not the end of the world, but an increasing amount of people are going iPad Pro only as their primary device. Would be nice to keep the software up with the demand and, as I've seen with the Catalyst Edit app, Line 6 is capable of making killer apps for iOS. That said, the Mac version of Line 6 Central works well and I appreciate that this exists.
